Cover Reveal – Poppy Pym and the Double Jinx by Laura Wood
I am so over the moon to be able to reveal the cover of book two in the fab MG Poppy Pym series, Poppy Pym and the Double Jinx by the lovely Laura Wood!
Poppy Pym and the Double Jinx is due for release on 1st September 2016 published by Scholastic!
Laura is the winner of the Montegrappa Scholastic Prize for New Children’s Writing and the first in the series, Poppy Pym and the Pharaoh’s Curse was shortlisted for the Sainsbury’s Children Book Award 2015 following it’s release last year.
Poppy Pym places a girl from an eccentric circus family into a classic boarding school story about friendship — all tied up in a mystery.
Narrated by the plucky Poppy, the story is enhanced with taped-in clues, conversations and other details from Poppy’s life !

So what’s it all about?
It’s Halloween at Saint Smithen’s. When the Brimwell town hall burns down, the amateur production of Macbeth is moved to the school and it’s all hands on deck. But when the play is struck by a series of mysterious attacks, it’s up to Poppy, her friends and her circus family to save the play and unmask the culprit.
